With a name meaning “Cherries”, Cerise is a light red wine made using skin-fermented Pinot Gris, co-fermented with Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir and Pinot Meunier. Fermented 100% whole-bunch and then gently pressed and left to rest for 11 months in old hogsheads barrels. This is a wine that can be enjoyed slightly chilled, and can be thought of as similar in weight, style and enjoyability to a Cru Beaujolais.
