Fermented on lees in a mixture of large format puncheons and acacia barriques, this Sauvignon retains the classic herbaceous and tropical spectrum of flavours that New Zealand Sauvignon is renowned for, while also attaining a degree of density and richness achieved thanks to our Northern climes. A small component of Sauvignon Gris and Semillon, lend richness, weight and complexity. This is a Sauvignon for those familiar with the wines of Sancerre.
